Be Open, Stay Close, Get Naked!

The social web has greatly expanded our horizons by enabling us to keep in touch and interact with people beyond the boundaries of time and space. We're opening up and publishing ourselves online, as a way to stay close to the people we care for. However, concerns are being raised over privacy, data ownership and accessibility, as people increasingly feel over exposed and locked in.

People yearn to be more naked, without being indiscriminate or exposing themselves to people they’re not close to. Ambient intimacy is about opening up and being close to our best friends, without the risk of invasion or intrusion of privacy.

“Open Messaging” is a new communication environment that enables people to be more intimate with the people that matter. Open Messaging is the sweet spot between messaging, social networking and micro-blogging. Stripped to the essentials, open messaging is a very naked form of expression too: without exposure; without formality; without inhibition; without fuss; without appointment.
